inner world explorations

Hi, I’m Amy.

I’m a therapist living in a magical forest up in Northern Ontario, Canada.

I interact with life curiously & have a knack for noticing signs & synchronicities.

I believe we’re at a significant point of transition on the planet & I’m honoured to be here for the shift.

I trust that our hardships can be powerful teachers & that good therapy is alchemizing. As we each turn inward the collective evolves & expands.

Since childhood I’ve had visions of living in the woods – hosting others & connecting with the natural world.

I wrote stories & daydreamed about owning a B&B in the forest where people could slow down & retreat from daily life.

As a teenager & young adult I worked at an overnight camp supporting mothers & youth from marginalized populations –

I spent my summers among the trees, singing songs around bonfires & witnessing the significant role that nature holds in healing & transformation.

I started my spiritual path in my early 20’s. Attending lectures & retreats, reading books & seeking mentorship.

To support my inner world & capacity to hold space, I’ve sought consultation, self-practice & regular psychotherapeutic support.

I’ve learned that self-care & routine allows me to first fill my cup up, & then let it flow over.

For the first decade of my career I offered traditional psychotherapy in Toronto, deepening my knowledge of trauma, depression & anxiety with an interest in existential & metaphysical concerns.

In the Spring of ’21 my partner Geoff & I made a big move to our 125 acre forested property in Northern Ontario.

I work from my home office by the lake, supporting clients virtually from across Canada & in-person for folks drawn to visiting this special forest.

All clients (local & long-distance) are welcome to arrange in-person sessions for a deeper dive into their healing journey.

Find me on Instagram to see more of the property & what awaits you here.
